panasonic-fullhd-3dPanasonic were showing off their 3D HDTV at a press event at IFA 2009. Unfortunately there were no cameras allowed while the 3D TV was on show, so you’ll just have to make do with some photos of the event it’s self and also another image showing some of the Panasonic TV’s that could be seem.

After HD TV, Panasonic believe the next step is in Full HD 3D technologies. Their product range spans from Broadcast Camera, to Blu-Ray to the TV in your living room. Therefore they are well equipped to provide the Full HD experience. Panasonic can provide the whole process, from shooting to watching, hence no middleman.

Panasonic claim their TV’s bring families together, much like fires of old which people gathered around. Now people gather around the TV, like a central hearth in their home. “For more than 50 years, we have been in pursuit of creating TV scenes which get better. From the original B&W to Colour, to HD, Full HD, and now Full HD in 3D. TV will become not something you watch, its something you feel.”

A presentation of Avatar was then shown in Full HD 3D. Jon Landau, the producer of Titanic was there to explain the movie. He thinks 3D movies will evolutionise, not revolutionise. People will see 3D movies, and realise this is how it’s supposed to be.

Quality of the trailer was amazing in Full HD. It will be great to see more of 3D as there seems to be a big push for it now.
