    I think touch screen or voice control would be a more feature rich interface and this mouse is somewhat (significantly) over-engineered. The average user just about copes with 2 buttons and a wheel and I think it would drive anyone over the age of 16 completely mad. I use that demographic split as I see great dexterity in multi-button interfaces on what can only be a few square inches of plastic (aka cellular phones). Once you pass 20, any task that requires opposable thumbs becomes more difficult 🙂

    @ SN: I totally disagree.I”m 34, and I use all 7 buttons on my MX Revolution to the fullest.And I would love to have more, as long as it didn’t compromise the ergonomics.A vol +/-, mute, not to mention play/pause and next/prev would have kicked some serious ass on a good designed mouse.
    And btw, I don’t think you speak for your peers at all.Unless you’re 70 that is.
