For those of you wanting to add a light weight Aerial Camera to your RC plane, check out this model. The camera and mounting bracket weigh 27 grams allowing the plane to comfortably fly without too much extra weight.
The camera costs $48 and is capable of capturing video at 640 x 480 pixels at 25 frames per second. The battery powering the camera can keep it running for about 1.5 hours.
If capturing still images instead the resolution is slightly higher at 1280 x 960 pixels. The lens is movable allowing you to point it where ever you want, but as the camera is very cheap, you need to change the angle manually before taking off of course.
For storage it has 2GB of memory built in and to transfer pictures and video to your computer, it has a mini USB port.
