ASUS Tablet Details Arrive

ASUS has revealed a bit more information about its plans to launch tablets. The ASUS was reported to be buying Tegra 2 chips a few days ago and has now confirmed that several tablets will be arriving starting in December of this year.

Several tablets will be made available with screen sizes starting at 7 inches moving on to 10 and 12 inches. The 12 inch tablet will be a Windows based tablet running an Intel chipset. This particular model is not expected to hit until January.

The other tablets will be Tegra 2 based from what we understand and will each run the Google Android operating system. Although one of the tablets is expected in December, it appears that the other 5 or 6 will land at CES in January.

At last, a budget tablet that might rival (or even beat) Apple’s monstrous Ipad. Android for the win! 🙂
