Brain Training Coming to Kinect

The brain training game everybody knows and loves on the Nintendo DS is making its way to Kinect as a sequel next year.

Its a far cry from the action you see in many games being released at the moment. So, at least for the more intellectual or those just up for a bit of fun, this new instalment will be more than welcome when its released for Kinect as it hits stores in November.

5 Exclusive Kinect Games By Japanese Developers

As with all new consoles or peripherals, they tend to triumph or fall by the wayside depending on the games that are available for them. It was the same with the original Xbox on release day and it was true for the Playstation 3 as well. This is all the more true for Microsoft’s Kinect. Unfortunately, at E3 earlier this year, our confidence wasn’t garnered with plenty of new games to satisfy our hunger for new games that would make Kinect that must have peripheral. But more recently it was announced at TGS that 5 new and exclusive Kinect titles will be released which actually show plenty of promise.

PS3 to recieve 3D Blu-ray support, Japan to get it first

During Sony’s press conference at the Tokyo Games Show, it was announced that it will finally release 3D Blu-ray support onto the PS3 from 21 September.

Halo: Reach – $200 Million Sales in its first 24 hours

Record-breaking sales of $200 million has catapulted, once again, the Halo series as the biggest entertainment launch in 2010 for the US alone.

As mentioned before in a previous post “Halo: Reach, touchdown” Halo: Reach is the 4th instalment of the Halo series which is set prior to that of Halo: Combat Evolved, in the year 2552 where the player takes control of Noble 6, a member of an elite supersoldier squad during the battle for the world of Reach as the Covenant begin their assault on the planet.

Halo: Reach, touchdown

With the arrival of Halo: Reach brings a huge smile to the faces of literally millions of fans, across 25 countries worldwide. Reach is a first-person shooter video game which was developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console. Its more of a prequel as this is the 4th installment of the series but the setting is prior to that of Halo: Combat Evolved where, in the year 2552, the whole of humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant on the human colony of Reach weeks prior to the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.
