Back To The Future Game To Be Released In Time For Christmas

Back To The Future: The Game is (for the time being) marked for a Christmas release date as Telltale Games are now taking pre-orders.

There have been a lot of major birthdays this year including Super Mario Bros. and the PlayStation 2. Now this year it’s Back To The Future’s 25th anniversary since it’s first release way back in 1985 starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.

Unfortunately Microsoft’s Xbox has been left out (unsure why at this stage) as the game will be only be gracing the PC, Mac, Ps3 and iPad this December.

CEO of Telltale Games – Dan Connors has said…

“We’re very excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Back to the Future franchise with a completely new adventure… It’s been an amazing experience to be part of reuniting Marty McFly and Doc Brown on their continuing quest. Back to the Future fans will have a great time helping to control the integrity of the space-time continuum”

Pricing has been announced at $24.95 for Mac and PC versions though the PS3 and iPad versions still awaiting confirmation along with pricing details yet to be released for the UK editions. Though as a gesture of goodwill, 1$ of every sale goes straight into the pockets of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Back To The Future: The Game can be pre-ordered now from www.backtothefuturegame.com

Still waiting for that hover board though, one day perhaps… One day.
