HTC is selling the HTC EVO 4G direct from their website with a price tag of $549.99. The handset has no contract allowing you to get a cheaper plan due to not having a subsidised device to support.
As well as being able to buy the handset off contract, there is also an option to buy the phone with a Sprint contract which brings the price down to $199.99 although you’ll be locked in for two years on that contract.
The HTC EVO 4G is a high-end smartphone that has a lot of advanced features. The device has a large 4.3 inch TFT display that can display 480 x 800 pixels. The device is powered by a 1GHz snapdragon processor provided by Qualcomm. For storage it has 1GB of memory built in along with 512MB of RAM.
On the back of the HTC EVO 4G is an 8 megapixel camera that has a flash. The camera can capture video in a HD resolution of 720p. A front facing lower resolution camera is also built in allowing for users to make video calls. This forward facing camera can also capture images at 1.3 megapixels if needed.
The EVO 4G from HTC is a truly impressive phone and well worth looking at if you want a high-end smartphone that is also very fast if you are in the correct coverage areas.
