LoveFilm has announced that the the new range of LG Smart TVs will be able to stream LoveFilm content to viewers. The streaming won’t include pay-per-view but will include 5,000 or more films from the library.

The service will cost £4.99/month and has been designed to take on NetFlix which launched in the UK recently. As well as streaming movies direct to your TV you’ll also be able to manage your rentals with LoveFilm as well as rate and read reviews of other movies.
