Nikon has launched the Coolpix S1100pj camera. This particular model is fairly unique in that it has a pico style projector built in so that images captured can be displayed on a wall or other surface.
The built in projector is capable of displaying an image up to about 47 inches diagonally.
Other features included in the Nikon Projector camera are a 14.1 megapixel sensor, a lens that is capable of 5 times optical zoom as well as a three inch touchscreen on the back. The screen is LCD.
The camera is capable of capturing HD video with a resolution of 720p. The projector has a rating of 14 lumens and is capable of throwing an image with 640 x 480 pixels.
The projector in the camera also has the ability to connect up to a PC via a USB port so that content can be projected from another source.
Price wise, it costs $350 at Amazon.
