The Nokia 808 PureView smartphone will be going on sale next week in the UK. The 808 PureView is unique due to the size of the camera sensor which is capable of capturing 41 megapixels.
Although carriers will not be offering the device on contract, it will be made available at Clove and will be sold for £499.99 inc VAT.
As mentioned, the camera is the real selling point of this device. Capturing 41 megapixels allows digital zoom to function without loss of quality as the camera can simply crop from a larger image rather than double pixel sizes etc…
As well as having a decent camera on it, the 808 PureView also has a 4 inch AMOLED screen that displays 640 x 960 pixels. It also has 16GB of RAM as well as microSD that can add another 32GB of storage to the phone.
