Software Update for new Retina MacBook and Other MacBooks Launched to Fix Heat and Battery Issues

The new range of MacBooks which includes the Retina, Air and regular MacBook Pro launched a few weeks back with a few issues of heat as well as the battery not lasting as long as Apple had stated.

Apple has now released an update that attempts to tackle the problem. The new update fixes issues that lead to increased CPU and power consumption which in turn, will help fix the heat issues.

Other features of the update include better support for devices connecting up to the new USB 3 ports.

The download is 76MB in size and is available for download now over at Apple.
