Sony have announced a new walkman today called the Sony A845 Walkman. The device measures just 7.2mm in thickness and has a 2.8 inch wide OLED screen. The A845 has high quality audio by using the S-Master Digital Amplifier along with Digital Clear Audio.
Digital noise cancelling is built in that is capable of clearing about 98% of ambient noise under certain conditions. Connectivity to a TV is also possible on the walkman via an AV cable that is provided as an optional extra. The quality of video output to TV is SD rather than HD.
Overall it looks to be a fairly decent offering that provide the usual features of video, audio and picture playback. No pricing details have been released just yet although we expect to see the 16GB model launched in February.
