ISIS Created by T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon

Three US cell phone companies have formed ISIS. ISIS is a mobile payment system that allows you to use NFC to make payments.

The creators of ISIS claim that the service is more than just a debit card replacement system. Extra features include the ability to store coupons, reward cards as well as public transport passes all in the same location.

We should start to see ISIS roll out over the next 18 months to around 200 million customers of these networks in the US. It’s certainly an interesting time considering that three major carriers are all on-board with this. We’ll keep an eye on things and see how it rolls out over the next year and a half.
